Who We Are
Dr. Jan Hamilton
Chief Executive Officer
With over four decades of educational experience, Dr. Hamilton possesses a global perspective on student learning outcomes, having contributed both nationally and internationally. Passionate about equitable education, she has taught general and special education, served as a site administrator, and accrued over fifteen years of executive leadership overseeing programs.
Dr. Hamilton's lifelong mission revolves around supporting students with disabilities and underserved populations. Her innovative intervention programs in reading and math have yielded exceptional academic results. As a proponent of inclusive education, she collaborates with external agencies to establish inclusive practices from preschool to post-secondary programs.
Recognized as a dyslexia expert, Dr. Hamilton employs research-based reading programs to enhance struggling readers' success. Holding master's and doctoral degrees from Saint Mary’s College of California, she published a dissertation on the impact of professional learning communities on student achievement.
Driven by a commitment to improving struggling students' success, Dr. Hamilton continues her mission through the nonprofit organization 'One Go.' This initiative aims to provide crucial support to struggling students, emphasizing the singular opportunity for education.
